(Very slow/poor WiFi on the ship, so the photos are struggling to upload.)
After a very filling Sofitel breakfast, we got sorted to go to the port for a 12:30 check-in. We took an Uber to the ship. First question was did we any have alcohol in our case. The answer was yes as the hotel had given us a bottle of red at each stay. Alcohol could not be in the case so we had to open our cases on the dockside and move the bottles into our hand luggage.
We checked in fairly quickly and soon found our cabin. We then began to explore the ship and have something to eat and drink.By now our cases had arrived but one had an enormous crack down the side! Guest Relations took the details and said they would see what they could do.
Leaving Sydney must be one of the best sailaways anywhere and we eased our way from the dock and past the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
The cabin is quite spacious with an infinity balcony, lots of storage space and a good sized bathroom.
Dinner included two of our Celebrity favourites - escargots and creme brûlêe.
